Is it okay to setup multiple domains as admin or should I create a reseller account?

I have a handful of domains and typically I never setup a reseller account so there is no "client" for my domains etc. Is it okay to do things this way?

Also, if I decided to let someone else run one of my domains later (client or reseller) can I just add that client/reseller to all the tabs for that domain? It seems like when I tried this before as an experiment things went south.

Any advice on if I am okay doing things as I always have or running as a reseller or client (to keep all domains separate) welcome.
