I need dns server which I will use to register domains. Some domain registers do not have DNS control, they "ask" for NS.

So I'm planing to install 2-3 ispconfigs, and with ISPConfig Remoting Framework do "manage" domain zones.

Is it smart idea or there is another project for managing dns?

I recommend that you have a look at mydnsconfig or at ISPConfig 3, which containes a improved version of mydsnconfig.

I recommend that you try the latest ISPConfig 3 from SVN as there are many improvements in the SVN version compared to 3.0.0.3. ISPConfig 3 uses mydns as dns server, so you can add dns records trough ISPConfig or your own scripts in the mysql database easily.
