I'm running a mail server on Debian-Squeeze and I want to install a verified ssl-certificate for postfix and dovecot. I planned to use the same domain name for smtp and imap to be able to use the same certificate issued on gateway.mymailserver.com. I've a couple of questions here: 1. Is it possible to use one certificate for sending & receiving mails (pop/imap & smtp)? 2. Ist it possible to use a domain-validate certificate for this purpose? (.cert & .key-file?) If this is not possible how can this be achieved? On the server there are several virtual maildomains.
