ISP-Server Setup - Ubuntu 5.10 Breezy Badger and PHP

    Hi

    It may just because I'm tired and not firing on all cylinders, but the steps on Page 5 for Apache seem to turn off support for PHP.

    Doing what is detailed there does not work for me, but if I don't do the "edit mime.types and php4.conf" steps php works. If I do the steps and comment out the lines as instructed .php files are then shown as text in my browser.

    Am I missing something here?

    Why are you still using Ubuntu 5.10?
     
  3. Yes for real, why would you use Ubuntu 5.10? I am interested in that as well.
    Isn't it maybe a better idea to setup a new server with an OS thats a bit more updated with all the software support you need?
