Nice one (again). I'll update all my server later today! Thanks again to the ISPconfig team ** Update ** All servers here (Debian Sarge) updated to 2.2.7 with no problems
Signature error Hi, I just updated to 7rc1 without big problems (only the one talked about in this forum which was easy to solve). When i was ready i found out 2.2.7 final was out and I updated immediately. After the update all seems ok but when I try to access ispconfig I get an error from FF telling me the signature of the certificate is invalid. Please see attachment for the error. any idea what can be wrong? -gzero
The SSL-Certificate seems to be corrupt. Create a new one as described here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121
Yes i recreated the SSL cert and it is working without problems now. I also got my mysql5 and php5 working with new password encryption now. ISPconfig was compiled with php4 client library's so the mysql client was still version 4. After updating to libmysqlclient15-dev and upgrading (recompiling php) ISPconfig all is well now. Thanks for the fast support and an amazing product. Really love it!
ISPConfig 2.2.7 installed Falko & Till & everyone involved, Thanks for ISPConfig 2.2.7! I just installed it and it looks really good! Well done
Just to be different, i have a problem. It "hangs" after "Preparing files, wait a moment"... 9 hours and it didnt end preparing.. its not normal... the problem here is that you delete the ispconfig working folder so, the httpd cronlog job fails and tear down the "·$)"($)·" apache I had to comment it to make it work and im trying to reinstal ispconfig now... but it dont work
Try to download the installer tar.gz file again, maybe it has been corrupted during download. There are already more then about 1000 - 1500 installations of this ISPCOnfig version, so you can be absolutely sure that your problem is related to your download or your linux system and not a general problem with ISPConfig.
Its running now... i believe the problem is with server load... as ive read i dont know if there is someone with a heavy server as me.. the big majority has only a few sites, may be you must try to optimize the installer... its compiling, so i can breath again
We are installing in on servers with several hundred websites daily without problems. You can not optimize the unpacking of a tar.gz archive with the tar command
[ISPConfig] - WARNING: could not unpack ISPConfig system [ISPConfig] - /ERROR: The PHP binary coming with ISPConfig does not work properly on your syste! The installation routine stops here! Im using a Fedora 4.0 I dont know how someone could install it, really.. the only thing i see is hundreds of people complaining... What can i do now?
Fobicodam, I guess you're a little further now. But you're problems are a little weird... Are you updating from 2.2.6?
It finally get installed. First problem: Move sites: txt_move_website_website: txt_move_website_from: txt_move_website_to: Missing language file? Detail, can you sort the domains names? its kind of messy looking one domain when there are 250 unsorted names. I cant understand how hundreds of big sites admins didnt realize this
In ISPConfig, there is an option to update. All the links I've seen in this forum so far fail when I try to use the Update feature. Am I misunderstanding something? I will download the file and do it that way. Cheers, Nap
