ISPConfig 2.2.8-RC1 available for testing

    The release candidate (RC1) of ISPConfig 2.2.8 is available for download.

    If no major bugs will be found, it will be released as ISPConfig 2.2.8 final within one week.

    Please post bugs and successfull installations and updates in this thread.

    This ISPConfig release contains updated versions of Spamassassin, ClamAV, PHP and Unzip.


    Detailed Changelog
    ------------------

    - Update: PHP to version 5.2.0
    - Update: ClamAV to version 0.88.6
    - Update: SpamAssassin to version 3.1.7
    - Update: Unzip to version 5.5.2

    Installation Instructions
    -------------------------

    Download the ISPConfig-2.2.8-rc1.tar.gz from ispconfig.org

    http://www.ispconfig.org/downloads/ISPConfig-2.2.8-rc1.tar.gz

    Installation on the shell as root User:

    tar xvfz ISPConfig-2.2.8-rc1.tar.gz
    cd install_ispconfig
    ./setup

    The installer automatically detects the installed ISPConfig version and performs an update.

    ISPConfig 2.2.8 RC1 looks ok

    I have installed ISPConfig 2.2.8 RC1 on my Debian testing server.
    Everything looks good!

    Why Im getting this ? I did make a fresh install of ubuntu 6.10 (the latest version) and 2.2.8-RC1 ISPC version:

    I have resolved that. I have installed all like it says in tutorial but it looks like g++ vasn installed :/

    Experiences with 2.2.8 RC1

    Hi all,

    Did anyone download the new ISPConfig 2.2.8 RC1 yet?
    How are the experiences? Positive, like mine?

    I installed it with ubuntu 6.06. No problems that I have noticed.
