Hello, We use ISPCONFIG version 2.2.32. We want to use version 3. Is it possible to upgrade this server to version 3 or must i do a complete new installation and reinstall all sites and users? regards Alex Bronsveld
There is no way to upgrade as both versions use completely different setups. You have to do a reinstall.
You will have to do it manually, there is no migration utility because the software and folder structures are completely different.

Tim -- ISPConfig 3 ISPConfig 3 is the next generation of the ISPConfig control panel, rewritten from scratch to support virtual users and multiple servers. ISPConfig 3 can not be used to Update a ISPConfig 2 installation at the moment.
There cant be an upgrade utility for technical reasons, see my answer above. What might be available at some point is a import wizard to import user passwords into a new ispconfig 3 install on a second server. But currently none of the developers has the time to work on this, so if you need this you might have to develop it.
