I had ispconfig fail during its initial install and when I try it again I get

    root@ubuntu:/tmp/ispconfig3_install# php -q install.php
PHP Deprecated: Comments starting with '#' are deprecated in /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/imagick.ini on line 1 in Unknown on line 0
PHP Deprecated: Comments starting with '#' are deprecated in /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/imap.ini on line 1 in Unknown on line 0
PHP Deprecated: Comments starting with '#' are deprecated in /etc/php5/cli/conf.d/mcrypt.ini on line 1 in Unknown on line 0
Could not open input file: install.php
    root@ubuntu:/tmp/ispconfig3_install#

    how do I fix that?

Which distribution do you use? Which tutorial (URL) did you use to install the server?

you were in the wrong folder as you started the install command. You were in:

    /tmp/ispconfig3_install/

but the folder that contains the install.php script is:

    /tmp/ispconfig3_install/install/
