Hi Till, Every time we import a file as dns, the file at /etc/bind of the zone is ending with .err We have tested with a test zone made from ispconfig without issues with a dns template from ispconfig. Then we copy the dns zone to a file, delete the zone in ispconfig, and then upload the file and the zone is created with error, ending every time with .err. Take a look at the syslog file of the system, bind is reporting there why it rejected that zone (which resulted in the .err file). You can also use the named-checkzone command to test the .err file and get the error.
