    Hi,

    I'am currently thinking about which is the correct directory to install ISPConfig 3 in:

    /usr/bin/ispconfig/
    /usr/local/bin/ispconfig/
    /usr/share/ispconfig/
    /usr/local/share/ispconfig/

    This directory will then include a subdirectory for the interface and one for the server part. The interface directory will then be symlinked to the document root of the apache webserver.

    I currently tend to /usr/local/bin/ispconfig/, but on debian e.g. phpmyadmin is in one of the /usr/share directories :confused:

    What's going to be in those directories? Only executables/programs? Or also config files, templates and the rest?

    If only binary -> /usr/local/bin/ispconfig
    If all -> /usr/local/share/ispconfig

    Or

    if all -> /usr/local/ispconfig (similar to DA)

    The php scripts and templates.

    I think /usr/local/ispconfig might be a good choice then :)

    How about: c:\program files\ispconfig ?

    No.. just joking.. /usr/local/ispconfig sounds like the place tobe for me!

    re: Windows version.

    Now that would really upset some developers of control panels that are available for Windows servers!
