How do I check on the slave to verify the master records are being seen on the slave? When I go to the control panel and select the second server, there are no zones. Also how can I verify that the server is working correctly prior to changing the NS records for our domain?
Where can I find that in the manual? I think I have the master working, but not sure how to test before making it public.
OK, I found it, and followed it, Error There is already a record for this zone. I click on the second server, add the zone, it only has the master server in the drop down, I add the domain, and the current NS, and get the above error. I followed this Howto, but used Fedora instead of Debian. http://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-ru...and-secondary-with-ispconfig-3-debian-squeeze
I bungled my server by upgrading past 15 not knowing that ISPConfig is not supported. Does th4e database still exist and where can I find it to save it for a reinstall?
The ispconfig database is normally named "dbispconfig" and you can export them with phpmyadmin or the mysqldump tool.
