    Hi everyone,

I want a special software which includes a mail client to receive POP3 mails.
This works fine, but mails are only picked up every 15 minutes. The developer of the tool told me, that the interval value can fixed only on server side.

I searched the last 3 hours for a solution, but I couldn't find something under this topic.

Is there a solution to set the interval manually? :)

You forgot to say what special software you are talking about.
I use fetchmail to get POP3 and IMAP4 mails from mail server, that can be run for example from cron as often as I want. I used once per hour, I did not see the need to have mails downloaded more often.

So this software that you want to use fetches the mails by pop3? In this case, it is a setting in that software and not on the server. The server has no pop3 intervals, a pop3 connection is initiated from mail client to the server and not from server to client, you can fetch mails as often as you like.
