dear community, i have the following Scenario: i have an old xenserver with Debian 6.0 and ispconfig 3 installed. now the virtual machines must be transfered to a new Hardware. so that is done, but; on the new Server i have new ipadresses. thats my question Point: i use dns, web, mysql ... all. but if i Change the ip address of the Debian, the dns Server records are the same.. now the question: how i can "replace" all old ip addresses with the new (inclusive dns Server, mysql Server (*allowed Hosts*), .. can you help me? thanks! many greets
Login to phpmyadmin and change the ip address werever you find it in the "mysql" database and the "dbispconfig" database. Then use the ispconfig resync tool to sync the changes to disk. make a backup of all mysql databases and the /etc directory before you do that.
hello till, thanks for your reply. okay, and the Apache config is creating self without Problem for the new ip-address? the other question; should i upgrade to the newest ispconfig install, or not (before i do the update)?. thanks
