ispconfig 3 no backups anymore

ispconfig3 stopped backing up - since january ... i can see the backups from these dates under sites, backup ..
i cant restore, or download ... nor are new backups generated. the 2 jobs server.sh and cron.sh are in crontab.
i got a debian machine with php7.3 and php7.4 installed.

any leads how to find the error ?

I deleted all entries under sys_cron in the db from ispconfig ...
and let the crontab scripts run again ...

 

still no backups running ....
