Help. I have had a Fedora 15 ISPconfig 3 server running for a about a year and email just went dead the other day. I have getting the error message in /var/log/maillog "status=bounced (user unknown. Command output: Invalid user specified.

I verified that the users still exist in the ISPconfig MySQL database.

    Thanks for your help.

Is it possible that you installed a Postfix update? What's in your /etc/postfix/main.cf?

No updates lately except a clamav daily update. I use Yum to do all my updates and Core 15 is on the unsupported list so nothing has been available. BTW, are there plans to support newer versions of Fedora in the future?

    My main.cf file is attached.

    Thanks for your help

Generally yes, the current problem is that fedora switched from sysv to systemd for starting services and does not provide wrapper scripts unlike all other distributions. Supporting fedora again will be possible when we have added native support for systemd to ispconfig.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this? I am really in a bind.

    Thanks

Is supergsego.com configured as domain alias for the domain ericmitch.com in the ispconfig mail module?

Yes. I get the same error on any email address configured on the system, whether it is an alias or not.

If this is a aliasdomain, then remove it and add email aliases for the exsiting email addresses instead. Wit a domain alias it can happen that postfix accepts the emails and then finds out later thet the target address does not exits and then a bounce like the one ou posted above will occur.

This does NOT happen on just alias domains. This happens on ALL email accounts configured within ISPConfig.
