Hi, Try as I might I can only get 1 external IP to work on my AT&T Business DSL. I had to go with them after they shutdown my old ISP So, my question is, I have 2 websites/domains -- can I configure ISPConfig to only use 1 IP address for both websites and emails???? Yes, this sounds like an idiotic question but AT&T has been NO help for over 6 months. They have no clue why it doesn't work correctly. Thanks, Dante
Agreed. I have been running several personal sites on ISPC with dynamic ip (obviously one at a time) for like 3 / 4 years now and they are all working fine. Just check whether relevant ports are open for your server. If you are behind a router, make sure the same ports are open in it too and properly port forwarded to your server.
So far, I have 1 IP that is accessible from the outside. I've just tested email and it's getting a 'no user' type message for both domains that are hosted. Any ideas? PS. This worked fine when mail2 was .51 and I had multiple IPs accessible from the outside world PPS: websites are half-a$$ed working! I think since it's been offline for 11 months! I have to fix some permissions, re-writes etc. Thanks, Dante canonical address: <[email protected]> MX records preference exchange IP address (if included) 0 mail2.cocoanet.us [99.78.112.49] SMTP session [Contacting mail2.cocoanet.us [99.78.112.49]...] [Connected] 220 inferno.cocoanet.us ESMTP Postfix (Ubuntu) EHLO test.network-tools.com 250-inferno.cocoanet.us 250-PIPELINING 250-SIZE 250-VRFY 250-ETRN 250-STARTTLS 250-AUTH PLAIN LOGIN 250-AUTH=PLAIN LOGIN 250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES 250-8BITMIME 250 DSN VRFY dantepasquale 550 5.1.1 <dantepasquale>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table RSET 250 2.0.0 Ok EXPN dantepasquale 502 5.5.2 Error: command not recognized RSET 250 2.0.0 Ok MAIL FROM:<[email protected]> 250 2.1.0 Ok RCPT TO:<[email protected]> 554 5.7.1 <[email protected]>: Relay access denied [Address has been rejected] RSET 250 2.0.0 Ok QUIT 221 2.0.0 Bye [Connection closed] Here's the mail log: Mar 31 14:08:06 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: connect from unknown[67.219.149.250] Mar 31 14:08:06 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: NOQUEUE: reject: VRFY from unknown[67.219.149.250]: 550 5.1.1 <info>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table; to=<info> proto=ESMTP helo=<test.network-tools.com> Mar 31 14:08:07 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: NOQUEUE: filter: RCPT from unknown[67.219.149.250]: <[email protected]>: Sender address triggers FILTER amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10026; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<test.network-tools.com> Mar 31 14:08:07 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: NOQUEUE: filter: RCPT from unknown[67.219.149.250]: <[email protected]>: Sender address triggers FILTER amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<test.network-tools.com> Mar 31 14:08:07 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[67.219.149.250]: 554 5.7.1 <[email protected]>: Relay access denied; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<test.network-tools.com> Mar 31 14:08:07 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: disconnect from unknown[67.219.149.250] ehlo=1 mail=1 rcpt=0/1 rset=3 vrfy=0/1 quit=1 unknown=0/1 commands=6/9 Mar 31 14:08:24 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: connect from unknown[67.219.149.250] Mar 31 14:08:24 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: NOQUEUE: reject: VRFY from unknown[67.219.149.250]: 550 5.1.1 <dantepasquale>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table; to=<dantepasquale> proto=ESMTP helo=<test.network-tools.com> Mar 31 14:08:25 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: NOQUEUE: filter: RCPT from unknown[67.219.149.250]: <[email protected]>: Sender address triggers FILTER amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10026; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<test.network-tools.com> Mar 31 14:08:25 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: NOQUEUE: filter: RCPT from unknown[67.219.149.250]: <[email protected]>: Sender address triggers FILTER amavis:[127.0.0.1]:10024; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<test.network-tools.com> Mar 31 14:08:25 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[67.219.149.250]: 554 5.7.1 <[email protected]>: Relay access denied; from=<[email protected]> to=<[email protected]> proto=ESMTP helo=<test.network-tools.com> Mar 31 14:08:25 inferno postfix/smtpd[11611]: disconnect from unknown[67.219.149.250] ehlo=1 mail=1 rcpt=0/1 rset=3 vrfy=0/1 quit=1 unknown=0/1 commands=6/9

No, that was a typo in my example. I changed the password to a real simple one but ran into the same issue. Maybe I should open a new thread on this since the one I opened this thread on is fixed
