    Ubuntu 10.04 LTS server edition running on a freshly rebuilt Linode.

    I have a fresh install of ISPconfig 3 and everything is working properly except for the FTP side of things.

    I installed ProFTPd after the install of ISPConfig 3 and created FTP users using ISPConfig 3. It sees the the FTP server is up and running but the user creation doesn't seem to allow access to my server. :mad:

    My errors in the ProFTPd log say:

    Mar 09 13:46:01 vps.palmettocomputerservices.com proftpd[3841] li210-220.members.linode.com :):ffff:70.89.81.253[::ffff:70.89.81.253]): USER kitkit: no such user found from ::ffff:70.89.81.253 [::ffff:70.89.81.253] to ::ffff:173.255.200.220:21
    Mar 09 13:46:01 vps.palmettocomputerservices.com proftpd[3841] li210-220.members.linode.com :):ffff:70.89.81.253[::ffff:70.89.81.253]): FTP session closed.

    kitkit- the name of my user (I think... 'Client Name'+'Username I made'

    vps.palmettocomputerservices.com- this should be the name of my domain

    li210-220.members.linode.com- this is possibly the name of my domain listed somewhere and shouldn't be (at least not to my knowledge)

    70.89.81.253- this is the IP address I am trying to access the server via Filezilla

    173.255.200.220:21- this is the IP of my server

    This is my ProFTPd.conf file... I changed the user and group to root/root and I changed the name of the server to be descriptive of my VPS... Is that right?
