Hi everybody, I would like to put my own DNS up in a multiserver environment but I do not want 2 servers but one server with 2 IPS. I already found this https://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-r...-secondary-with-ispconfig-3-debian-squeeze-p2but it is about 2 servers. Is it possible to work with one server, 2 IPS and ispconfig? If, is there any howto available? Thanks for some help
Sure. Yes, see ispconfig manual (which you can download as subscriber at howtoforge). Use the multiserver setup and just install only one dns server instead of 2 dns servers.
I already got that but at this point I only have one server (ns1.mydomain.com) available in ispconfig. Shouldnt be there a ns2.mydomain.com?
