    Hi,
I recall when I did the autoinstaller a reminder to delete a file which contains the mysql and ispconfig username and passwords.

Could you please remind me which file this is to delete ?

    Thanks,
    Richard

I do not remember having to delete files after autoinstaller. Maybe you are confused by this statement the installer prints:
    Code:
When the installer is finished it will show you the ISPConfig admin and MySQL root password like this:

[INFO] Your ISPConfig admin password is: 5GvfSSSYsdfdYC
[INFO] Your MySQL root password is: kkAkft82d!kafMwqxdtYs
Make sure you write this information down, as you will need them later.
You can read the instructions here:

    Hi Taleman,
There was defiinitely a note suggesting to delete a file due to security, because it contains the above passwords.

That's correct. I can't remember the line but it should be kept somewhere in temp folder which means it would normally be deleted upon system reboot. But I could be wrong too. :D

It is in the /tmp folder, which is usually cleared when rebooting.

    Thanks Th0m,
I found it in the /tmp directory.

    Here is the filename :
    /tmp/ispconfig-ai/var/log/setup-20220415151727.log:15.04.2022-15:31:07
