I would like to create a backup server to the live ispconfig server.
The server does not need to be a "live". The data is synced like every 12 hours.
If the live server is down, we just have to change ip address and turn on the services.
Is there any thing like this with ispconfig?
Or any advice on how to do this?

You can either use some basic Linux tools like rsync in conjunction with dumping and restoring the mysql databases script based. or use isp_copy, which is part of the migration toolkit, in automated mode to keep the second server in sync.

I have used isp migration tool. Have not tried isp_copy. Will read up on it.
    Thank you for the advice.

Does isp_copy have a one year renewal too?

Yes, it's part of the Migration Toolkit.
