    Hi there,

I'm having a really obnoxious problem. Every time that I change the home folder of a user (For FTP so that they can upload) within a few days ISPConfig changes it back to the ISPConfig directory.

What can I do to fix this?

Sorry to bring this post back, but that doesn't seem to work. Is there a way to stop ISPConfig from editing the users home directories?

    Thanks

No, as you can not change the home directory of users created by ISPConfig manually.

So would it work if I created a user through adduser (the command line way)?

Yes, only users created trough ISPConfig will be changed by ISPConfig.

Make sure you use a UID below 10000 as ISPConfig uses UIDs >= 10000 for its users!
