    Hey Guys,

    It's my very first Post here, so be nice to me :p

    I got an intersting message after trying to enable DKIM on my Domainfactory DNS:

    "Das Ziel ist zu lang, es sind maximal 743 Zeichen erlaubt"
    (freely translated: max count of chars in 743, input is longer)

    I entered the pre defined DKIM from my ISPConfig:
    v=DKIM1; t=s; p=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

    (obviously I have to change it later.. ;) )
    Shown key is 752 chars long. So what do I do?

    Regards,
    Bent

    Use a smaller key, ask domainfactory why the have such a limit or ask them, if you can add konger txt-records with a different format (i.e. use some \n or something similar).

    Hi florian030,
    Thanks for your advice. I didn't see the option ..

    BTW domainfactory answered it is currently not possible bringing in txt longer than 743 chars :(

    Regards,
    Bent
