Is it a 64-bit or a 32-bit SuSE? If it's a 32-bit SuSE, you must install mysql-devel, as described on http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_suse_9.3_p4: Code: apt-get install mysql mysql-client mysql-shared mysql-devel perl-DBD-mysql perl-DBI perl-Data-ShowTable If it's a 64-bit SuSE, have a look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1626 http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=127 http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=286
It was already there . rpm -q mysql-devel mysql-devel-4.1.10a-3.4 (I followed the The Perfect Setup - SUSE 9.3 )
