Hi till, Tnx for your reply In This moment, i'm not interested to mail service with horde, but to groupwave function. To day i tried to install hord on centos 6.4 with ispconfig, but somethin not work correctly. I don't see the hord's default page Are your shure what is possibile? Sorry for the (very) bad english
I am using Horde on my ISPConfig 3 installation and is working. Except Task function - still an issue with it.
hi Ghostdare, i'm glad of this! -do you have install ispconfig on centos? -do you have read some tutorial? -do you have created something in particolar with ispconfing before installing horde? tnx for your time guys
No, is not on CentOS! But Horde since v4 can be installed trough pear. And this howto can help you somehow.
Great! Tomorrow i will try on My centos. One question: install in /var/www/horde is obbligatory or i can install in /var/www/site/horde?
I was successful installing horde 5 with ubuntu 13.04 and 13.10. Watch out with 13.10 the php5-json that install breaks several horde functions. Some kind of license dispute. I just used the ondrej/php5 repository instead. No issues.
No worries. I am learning this stuff myself. Basically I created a new server. Then added add-apt-repository ppandrej/php5 apt-get update Then more or less followed the http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-ubuntu-13.04-nginx-bind-dovecot-ispconfig-3 I was using a vps so I basically started on page 3. Guessing it would be before step 8.
tnx so much for your patiente! me too, but ispconfig on centos 6.4 so, is a repository, but for ubuntu (so, debian).... centos is based on redhad, if i don't mistake regards
Correct you will need to find equivalent packages manger for I believe its now yum. Haven't worked with red hat rpm since I once played around with redhat 5 long before it became fedora. But then since the json licensing problem was with Debian based linux distributions you might be able to just use the php packages that are included with the centos distribution. Not sure!
great dcurrey, i understand! but... maybe is better i i will use ubuntu for horde, do you know? this, is my new think! some questions: - Do you use horde? (maybe bitnami horde, for example) - is yes, do you use caldav service? see you!!! (and tnx so much)
It is best to use the distribution with you are familiar. Second, why you want to use Bitnami, it will give you another server!?! As I understand you try to use with ISPConfig... Try to combine the tutorials found here, and at some point you will succeed. Test in a virtual machine until it will be OK.
hi ghostdare, i try bitnami because is all in one packet. But i will try to install horde on ubuntu, with some tutorial. in this moment, i can use virtual machine on vmware cluster infrastructure, so is very simple use snapshot for each modification
