I'd love to have a Howto for installing ISPConfig on Amazon's release of Linux for AWS. I'm aware that the Amazon Linux AMI is mostly based on RHEL, but the differences are enough that the Howto guide for CentOS just doesn't work without a lot of workarounds and changes. In the end I just gave up. Amazon's Linux AMI is free*, well-supported and works perfectly with all features of AWS. It's the default OS used when setting up an Elastic Beanstalk application. (* well, "free" to setup, but obviously standard AWS fees apply)
