ISPConfig in VMWare - MySQL does not start

    Hello,

    I am running ISPConfig with VMWare Server 1.0.1 (openSuse 10.2).

    I have a second compuiter, also with openSuse10.2 and
    VMWare Server 1.0.1,

    but after copying the files of the virtual machine to the other computer and starting ISPConfig in VMWare MySQL does not start.

    Has anyone a hint for me what could be wrong?

    Which files did you copy from one server to the other? Database files from /var/lib/mysql/ ? Any errors in the syslog or mysql logfile?

    I copied the whole VMWare files
    (Other Linux 2.6.x kernel.nvram and so on...)
    so I should have the whole file-system inside with the same configuration like before.

    I hope you copied the whole folder that contains the nvram file?

    Do you see any errors in the logs why MySQL isn't starting anymore?
