ispconfig installation error on ubuntu 22.04

Did you run the command as root user? Take care to run:

sudo -s

Before running the command to install ISPConfig, another possibility is that your Ubuntu system is doing a package update in background and therefore apt commands fail until the updates have completed.

Strange, so the PHP packages from Ondrej seem to have dependency issues. The packages are from deb.sury.org and are widely used. I'll spin up a clean Ubuntu 22.04 VM here and check that.

Are you sure you started from a completely new and clean system with just SSH installed?

I recommend you to check your sources.list file and the sources.list.d directory, most likely your system is not as clean as you think and has some none standard sources included.

 

The installation guide clearly says that ARM64 is not supported!

We might add support for ARM 64 in future, but as some packages are not available for this arch, we will have to disable and remove some of the backup features in ISPConfig first to support it.
