Hello! I have an ispconfig 3 multiserver environment. the system: 1. panel server + primary dns + web + database 2. mail2 server 3. web2 server 4. web3 server 5. dns2 server (mirror from the primary dns) 6. i want here the primary dns server The new system is up and running and i have completed the ispconfig installation for the 6. server. But i have no idea how to move the primary dns server from the 1. server to the 6. server. Can anyone help me ?
Just change the server_ids in the database on server1 for the dns-records in the database to the server_id for server 6 and resync the dns-zones
Thanks the help, this is worked for me! But i have 2 another question. I like to change the panel serverm to another ispconfig server in the multiserver environment. Is this possible and if yes how ? And my second question is if i do a DNS resync the sync is slow...because i have 2000+ domain name and the resync time is 4-8 hour... can i speed up this process somehow ?
