Good afternoon, I'm trying to create second server for my hosting, but little bit confused. All zones where created on master server and in a some times ago, I've added second server what should be second (failover) for DNS staff, but I can't add the same domain just for another server, system says that this domain is exist, but this one exist for another server and not create any conflicts with current one. Also second server don't want to read own datalog table and don't want to insert required data to datalog of master. Can somebody provide me pls solution how to workout DNS issue in multiservers env? Thanks.
There are 2 Options: 1) Automatic DNS Syncing by ISPConfig. In this case you have to configure your second server as mirror of the first one. See here: http://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-ru...and-secondary-with-ispconfig-3-debian-squeeze 2) DNS syncing by BIND: Create the Domain as Secondary DNS Domain for the second server and not as primary domain.
