ISPConfig MySQL instead of MariaDB

    It seems I've corrupted my ISPConfig 3 setup by deleting MariaDB and installing MySQL
    Is there a way to fix this without re-provisioning the server.

    I think you can simply reinstall mariadb to restore it.

    It's ok I upgraded the distro to Ubuntu 17.10 then purged MySQL, PhpMyAdmin and Apache and refollowed ISPConfig installation

    That's not a good way to resolve a problem but it's your server, so it's up to you.
