I have everything installed and working on ubuntu 6.06 server. The ispconfig server doesn't start up on boot though it is listed in rc levels. I have tried removing and replacing it, same thing. It shows it, but not running when I check after boot. One other thing. I have the ssl installed and it asks for rsa pass phrase. I'm guessing that is what is stopping it. Any help would be appreciated.
if you encrypted in steps 6-8 of the inital setup.. you cant have it start with the machine.. you manually have to type in the password to have it start..
To verify what derboxen guessed, please run: /etc/init.d/ispconfig_server start if you are prompted for a password, please create a new unencrypted SSL certificate as described here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=121
