Hi, I'm using ISPConfig on my test server for number of sites, but now I'd like to start using it on the development machine as well. I'm connecting/uploading to the test server via ftp or rsync which is ok with the default ISPConfig configuration. On the development machine I'd like however to be still able to have internal Linux firewall and AppArmor (yes, it's SuSE), well kinda standard setup... I also need to configure ACLs so my DEV user have full access to the web directories. I wonder if someone is using similar setup and can share some tips how to do it. Perhaps there is a be better way to satisfy my requirements, and without using ISPConfig, but there are certain reasons that I'd like to stick to this setup. Thanks, Peter
ISPConfig is compatible with all firewalls, when you wnat to use the suse firewall, just leave the ispconfig firewall inactive. You may use apparmor as well I guess, but there are no rule sets for ispconfig, so you will have to create them.
