Just finished installing Mandriva 2007 using this HOWTO.

But now I want to use ISPConfig. This isn't installed yet is it?
How can I install it on Mandriva 2007 Free, using Putty on my Windows desktop. Can't find any HOWTO on the site, or in this forum using the search. Can somebody post a link which can help me out?

    Thnx in advance!

I think I figured out the next step. I uploaded the latest version (ISPConfig-2.2.7.tar.gz) of ISPConfig to my server using the root FTP account.
I stored it in the tmp map, because this is the only directory visible here. Included an overview of the directory you enter, after login. Don't know which one this is on my Mandriva server.

    tar xvfz ISPConfig*.tar.gz

This command won't work (because I'm not in the correct directory?), neither does:
    cd install_ispconfig

Can someone tell me which directory this /tmp dir is in, when using the root account (on Putty). Or, how can I find this file on my server?
I'm new @ Linux, so don't know all of these commands yet. And still can't find a good tutorial for this part of the install.

To install ISPConfig on your server, login as root user with SSH (putty).
Then go to the tmp directory with:

Then you can download the latest ISPConfig version with the command:

    Code:
    wget http://switch.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/ispconfig/ISPConfig-2.2.7.tar.gz
After the download has finished, you can unpack it with:
