    Hello,

I was looking if it would be possible to run ISPConfig on Windows. I haven't found anything that it is possible, but has anyone tried it?

    Regards,
    Bas

ISPConfig will work on Linux only.

If you have a windows environment then get VirtualBox and install it under Windows and create a Debian vm and install ISPConfig on that. Works great.

Wo'nt Windows 10 with the Linux/Ubuntu subsystem make it possible to run ISPConfig 'natively' ??

    MarsWarrior,
It appears your right. Didn't realize they just added that. Someone with Windows 10 should install it and let us know how well it works.

"Microsoft has worked with Canonical to offer a full Ubuntu-based Bash shell that runs atop this subsystem. Technically, this isn’t Linux at all. Linux is the underlying operating system kernel, and that isn’t available here. Instead, this allows you to run the Bash shell and the exact same binaries you’d normally run on Ubuntu Linux. Free-software purists often argue the average Linux operating system should be called “GNU/Linux” because it’s really a lot of GNU software running on the Linux kernel. The Bash shell you’ll get is really just all those GNU utilities and other software."

That link says, 'This won’t work with server software,' so no go for ispconfig.
