Hello All! Email appears to be running smoothly. Did the Hardening and not 1 spam has made it through SWEET! (skipped the greylisting) I have some small things in CP but the email.log is one that I would like to look at: I noticed that the from: and to: are always emtpy in the log. I would like to see this info for monitoring trouble domains or email accounts Sample from log: postfix/smtp[25944]: E265C281638: to=, relay=127.0.0.1[127.0.0.1]:10024, delay=7.2, delays=1.4/0.01/0/5.7, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 from MTA([127.0.0.1]:10025): 250 2.0.0 Ok: queued as C7A54281639) postfix/qmgr[15417]: C7A54281639: from=, size=16994, nrcpt=1 (queue active) postfix/qmgr[15417]: E265C281638: removed postfix/pipe[25948]: C7A54281639: to=, relay=maildrop, delay=0.13, delays=0.05/0.02/0/0.06, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (delivered via maildrop service) postfix/qmgr[15417]: C7A54281639: removed Is there something in a config that i could add to see the missing info? Jim.. BTW: As (what I consider) a Linux Noob! not as complicated to setup and get running. To this day I still create DOS scripts on Windows Servers. So this is just similiar tasks but different commands, so KUDOS to those that created ISPConfig. Good-Bye HMC I do see a few things that could be tweaked in the CP ie: DNS Template. the default SOA info isn't RFC compliant, at least the retry, min. expires numbers etc. Here is what I found works and reported passed at 3 different dns testing sites: refresh=7200 retry=900 expire=1209600 minimum=10800 ttl=3600 Enjoy!
The log output is fine, there is nothing missing as the lines that you posted are the internal delivery processes between the spamfilter and postfix, so this is no incoming email. For incoming email from external sources, you see the from and to in the log.
that's a negative!, I have not seen 1 to: address in the mail.log.. I have looked at a connect sequence right from the connect to the queue emptied.
