Hi, My installation VPS / Debian 10/ Perfect server I created one website this morning on my running server. When the website was created my ispconfig "Sites" tab looks to be frozen for few minutes, in the meantime, I refreshed it. After that, my ispconfig panel as well as all the websites hosted on the same server are unreachable. I ran the following commands using SSH root@server:~# sudo resolvconf -u root@server:~# php -v PHP 7.4.33 (cli) (built: Apr 22 2024 09:41:37) ( NTS ) Copyright (c) The PHP Group Zend Engine v3.4.0, Copyright (c) Zend Technologies with Zend OPcache v7.4.33, Copyright (c), by Zend Technologies root@server:~# lsb_release -a No LSB modules are available. Distributor ID: Debian Description: Debian GNU/Linux 10 (buster) Release: 10 Codename: buster root@server:~# Please advice the solution to fix it Thanks & regards Abin
Please run the test script and post the result: https://forum.howtoforge.com/threads/please-read-before-posting.58408/ Have you tried to restart the web server program (apache or nginx)?
Thank you for the reply . No, I have not restarted the server ( Apache) yet because similar situation I faced about couple of weeks ago with another server of mine. At that time, I restarted & after that could not fix it . Restarting a service does not break the service. If something stops working after you restart a service, then it was already broken before, and you would just delay the effect by not restarting it. The same issue would have happened if you had installed an update the next time or restarted the server. Currently Apache is not started, please start it.
Sir, After restarting, it throws the following errors root@server:~# systemctl restart apache2 Job for apache2.service failed because the control process exited with error code. It seems as if you created a copy of one of the vhost files. Run: rm /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/000-apps.vhost.save and try to start again.
