    Hello,

i would like to ask if someone has already configured an ISPconfig server as email relay gateway.
I need to relay e-mail to an external e-mail server for domain that is hosted on the ISPconfig server, but the mails should also be scanned by the spam filter before they are redirected to the external e-mail server.

This can be done with ispconfig 3 but not with ispconfig 2.

    Hello,

    thanks for the replay

my question was more about manually edit postfix configuration so that it relays mails to external mail server, still uses the spam filter, and dont break the ispconfig system :)

The spamfilter in ispconfig 2 is invoked by procmail when the email is delivered into the mailbox, so ispconfig 2 can not scan relayed emails.

I too have been wondering what is the best way to implement 'Backup Email Relay' with ISPConfig3?

Edit: Hmmm. No more whisky for me today. I seem to be in wrong thread.
