ispconfig ssl installation guide

    Hi,

    Is there a guide for installing ssl other than with startssl?

    The steps are the same for all SSL authorities. Get a ssl cert from any ssl authority and then follow the steps of the guide to install it.

    Hi I have purchased a wildcard certificate and have managed to get it working for https://mydomain.com:8080 :), but was wondering how to get it working for my website https://www.mydomain.com. Do I still have to copy the data from the SSL Request field and get a new certificate, or can I use the existing certificate. Also the CA has not provided me with an SSL bundle, can I leave this field empty in the ssl bundle field?

    The procedure to install an existing ssl certificate into a website is explained in the manual, please see chapter 5.4.1. If your ssl authority does not require an intermediate cert, then leave this field empty.
