Hi all, I apologize in advance if this topic has been asked and answered, I have google'd it and have not come up with a solution.

I have a website (www.ritochpowell.com) on ISPconfig but the mail for that URL is hosted elsewhere.
My mailserver is on ISPconfig. When I try to send mail from my mail account on ISPconfig, I get the message:

Server Response: 550 5.1.1 <joesmith@ritochpowell.com>: Recipient address rejected: User unknown in local recipient table

This is the only website this could happen on so I am open to global (server-wide) solutions or a specific solution only for ritochpowell.com

    Thx-

set the website and co-domain to external mailserver in ispconfig on the options tab of the website and co-domain settings.

Ok, this site has no co-domains so I switched from local to external mailserver.

Do I need to delete anything, or reboot, or restart mail?

Is ritochpowell.com (without www) listed in /etc/postfix/local-host-names?
