Hi I have this annoying problem with my VMWare "ISPConfig Webhosting Appliance". The Munin tool seems to "graph" only last couple of minutes. Looks like there is some configuration issue involved here. I have been trying to look for the answer my self but can't seem to figure it out. Could it be that the VMWare has traditionally been bad in time keeping and generally starts to either speed up or to slow down? Has anyone noticed this same problem? Sam
Yes, that's a common problem with vmware. You should try to install the vmware tools and additionally sync your server with a ntp server regularily.
I enabled NTP using Webmin (great tool) and that helps. But webmin only give 1h min update time. I guess that is not enough. Where could I make it ~10min? Or is this advisable? Any ideas about the negative effects on istalling VMWare tools?
