hi all, i want to know if it's possible to use ISPconfig with Gentoo and Xampp server? because i have try today and i have recieve: ERROR: Ihr Betriebssystem wird nicht unterstützt! / Your operating system is not supported! / Votre systeme d'exploitation n'est pas supporté! i need to do additionnal configuration ?? thank u
Gentoo is not supported by ISPConfig but there are some workarounds described in the tipps & tricks forum but Xamp is in general not supported, because it uses non standard locations for files. On linux a webserver is normally installed by the system packages and not with a bundle like xampp that may be userful under windows.
because m y dedicated server use gentoo... is for that i can't use ispconfig.. i need to search for other solution thank u
You dont understand me correctly. I said that ISPConfig is not compatible with xampp, you can install ISPConfig on gentoo when you do it as described here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6753&highlight=gentoo
