    Hi:

I am wondering if anyone has successfully installed squirrelmail in an ispconfig2 environment where squirrelmail is installed and maintained via the repository?

I have installed ispconfig2 and it works but the main domain www.xykon.com points to /var/www/web1/web and squirrelmail is looking for the www.xykon.com root directory at /var/www (or so it seems).

Server is named tornado.xykon.com and the settings show that it is pointing to /var/www as the web directory.

www.xykon.com is setup via ispconfig and it is pointing to /var/www/web1/web

Apachee seems to be setup to use /var/www but I wonder if by changing that it messes up everything?

Can anyone give me some help? After install of squirrelmail, I put a link to the /usr/share/squirrelmail folder in /var/www/web1/web but no luck getting it to work. I could install squirrelmail via ispconfig2 but then it would NOT update via the respository updates.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, this will mess up your setup.

You should use the phpmyadmin packages from ISPConfig.
