    Hi, i accidentally deleted the log files of a client found under /log used for creating the stats, the apache vhost files are still there, is there a way to recreate the daily access.log files in /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/{vhostname}

    Thanks for your help in advance

    It is not possible to recreate the old logs if you dont have a backup of these files. New logs should be created automatically when the iste is accessed.

    that is strange because the original vhost files in /var/log/apache2 -> other_vhosts_access.log are still intact, so a rerun of some script wouldn't recreate the logs in /var/log/ispconfig/httpd?

    thats too bad then.

    Has this any negative effects on the web stats of webalizer allready created?

    No, because the files in /var/log/ispconfig/httpd/{vhostname} are not based on the file other_vhosts_access.log

    No, I dont think so.

  5. Hello I have the same issue with ISPConfig 3.
    Firstly I recreated similar file sets from another site, but the files where not populated with log entries.
    Then I read your suggestion above. So I deleted the files I manually created and I accessed the site, but the log files did not recreated.
    What should I do?
    thanks,
    for your time
