I newly installed Ubuntu 25.04 and I can't install anymore ISPConfig3 on it; "[ERROR] Exception occurred: ISPConfigOSException -> Version 25.04 is not supported for ubuntu (/ispconfig.ai.php:15)". What should I do, re-install Ubuntu 22.04 or wait tll there is a new ISPConfig3 update in a "near" futur.

Ubuntu 25.04 is an intermediate release mainly meant for desktops, not a LTS server version. You must install an Ubuntu LTS server, the latest Ubuntu LTS server version is 24.04 and that's fully supported by ISPConfig. Installing an old Ubuntu 22.04 makes no sense; install the latest LTS server version, which is Ubuntu 24.04.

We all mean to say, simply setup and install a fresh minimal Ubuntu 24.04 server, then install ISPConfig using its auto installer.

Nowadays we prefer installing ISPConfig in a vm, rather than in a bare machine, for easiness in its back-and-restore management, though the old way is also fine.

Lastly, if you are not certain, of anything, especially in planning a proper homelab etc, ask in here, perhaps before, rather than after.
