    Hi Till, Hi Falko,
two short questions about the BanDaemon:
From the description on the ispprotect page it seems that the BanDaemon is an alternative to fail2ban. Is this right or does it depend on fail2ban?
The page tells ispprotect customers to copy their ispprotect license.key into the /opt/ispprotect_bandaemon/directory, however I only seem to have a license code (12months) which I have to enter manually when running ispprotect. Does this mean to create a license.key file which contains the license code?
    Thanks for your help!

    Hi Stefan,
yes the license code needs to be put into a license.key file for the ban daemon.

The BanDaemon is an alternative to fail2Ban which supports IPv6 and it uses score based banning levels.

Yes, create a text file with the name license.key e.g. with vi or nano and enter the key there.
