your issue appears to start here :

    PHP:
    checking for zlib installation... /usr
    configure
errorThe installed zlib version may contain a security bugPlease upgrade to 1.2.2 or laterhttp://www.zlib.net. You can omit this check with --disable-zlib-vcheck but DO NOT REPORT any stability issues then!
try upgrading your zlib. what distro are you using?

Will this fix it? I've spent too much time installing it too many times.

Yes thats the fix, its a common problem on Centos, beacuse Redhat ships zlib binraies with old version numbers and these binaries where not accepred by the ClamAV antivirus configure script.

If you posted your problem earlier, you dont have to install 7 times :)

Is it because i'm installing it from /root/ispconfig ?

till Super Moderator Staff Member ISPConfig Developer

Yes. ISPConfig uses this directory during setup. Please install it from e.g. /tmp or /usr/src. Do not use /root/ispconfig and /home/admispconfig.
