It's in red color , it actually says in italian 'Supporto MySQL Non disponibile' Mysql support not avialable that's how it would say in english .... Anyway (sure you understood)i have installed all packages needed php4,php4-mysql , php4-cgi , php4-cli ,php4-common,php4-curl,php4-dev.php4-domxml,php4-gd,php4-gpid,php4-idn,php4-imap,php4-odbc .It's not the first time i run into this and i'm also quite sure it's not a missing package issue but i can't remember how i got over this last time .... definitly writing it down here i won't forget it anymore .It's a joomla installation on a debian sarge stable kernel 2.6.8 on apache2 libapache2-mod-php4 it's here, mysql is set , page http://net.gabrix.ath.cx/installation/index.php loads and it's all green writable , mysql support is missing (maybe that's proper english!)
What can i say? If you are running ISPConfig on your server as well, you try to setup a Joomla site again according my howto: http://www.howtoforge.com/joomla_ispconfig Maybe you forgot a step somewhere...
tha's was why the above problem and a new one (new because never happened ... what a night!).Mysql is not logging me in password or username incorrect.I have changed password 4 5 times to the root user ,.mysql logs me in from the console with the same password i use in joomla,i changed cms i installed mambo and nothing changed,I removed mysql-server new user new password but nothing ....
After you change the passwords in mysql you need to flush (or restart) it... otherwise the old ones will still be in effect.
