File Permission i might have a problem with file permission. I FTPed the server and my file permission are set to 600. Arent they ought to be something like 754 or 755. is there are suse 11.1 command which i can use to change the file permission since ftp doesnt allow me to do so.
You cna change permissions of files with the chmod command. This works on any linux distribution. For the default setting of uploaded files, take a look at the pure-ftpd configuration file, the setting is named umask.
