Which distribution do you use? What's the output of Code: uname -a ? Did you use any of the "Perfect Setups" from HowtoForge to set up your server?
i figured it out thanks for the interest though i am using ubuntu 7.04 server and yes i was using the perfect setup but i installed the unbuntu-desktop and changed some repositories to link libraries and did a few other things along the way so I wiped the install and completely redid everything word for word and got all the way through ispconfig setup then i got a cert error but i think its cause of dotster cause my domain is not pointing anywhere on the web yet then I went back and edited the repositories and finally installed unbuntu-desktop and like magic it all compiled up and works fine for what i can see so far no errors and ok on all services load up and all clean clear logs and permissions
