Hi Folks, I have set up KVM on a Fedora 13 Server using the Howto "http://www.howtoforge.com/virtualization-with-kvm-on-a-fedora-13-server" and have been able to create and use several Linux based virtual machines. However I have problems when I try to set up Windows 2003 server (Win XP too). I create a VM and start installing WIN2003 all goes well until it restarts. I get a message saying - Booting from Hard Disk... A disk read error occurred. I have tried using 3 different Win2003 install disks and also a Win XP disk, same thing each time. Am I missing something? Thanks Jeff

Thanks Hi and thanks. That worked really well with XP, however didn't work with 2003 Server. The only comment I would make is that unlike the tutorial I did everything with the GUI virt-manager, I had to force the VM to stop when the Disk formatting finished. As I can do what needs to be done on XP I'm going to ignore 2003 for now, but I'll have to play around with 2003 server later. Thanks Again Jeff
